Frequently Asked Questions

I'm afraid I'll make a mistake. What should I do?

What's the catch?

Why should I attend an ICES meeting?

Will more money solve my money problems?

What if interest rates go up?

I don't know anything about investing

Well if you have come this far, you are motivated to find out more.
A wise man once said "I can help a hungry person become sharp, but I can't help a sharp person get hungry..."
(I think he was from cork!)

To not know is fine if you are going to do something about it and act.

Remember the saying "To know and not to do, is not to know"

We would recommend you meet with people who have already developed a track record in investing.
Where do you meet these people? Try your own area first, why not ring up a successful business person and ask if you could buy them lunch and have a chat about what their thoughts are? At the very least, they will be complimented that you think they are worth listening to... and on the other hand, they could very well lead you onto a path of prosperous investing and introduce you to their best contacts.
Also, you could attend an ICES event...
